I was on wrongplanet.net, the main site for people with Asperger’s Syndrome, checking out the forum. I stunbled unto one of the forum topics about how a bunch of asswiped made several “definitions” of Asperger’s Syndrome on the website Urbandictionary.com.

Now, The Urban Dictionary, arguably a prototype Wiki, is one of my favorite sites. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of idiots that tend to abuse this freedom on UD.

With that in mind, let’s have a look at some of the “definitions” of Asperger’s Syndrome:

I’ll start with my favorite: “Basically, some whiny emo teenage outcasts figured out that they kind of were autistic, only just a teeny bit. Then they started making this bull**** movement for other whiny ~unique~ teenagers to join them. So that they could all meet together on the Internet and have a giant circlejerk about how UNIQUE and MISUNDERSTOOD they are. And got a few dipshit doctors to vouch for them. “

So wait, we’re Emo? What the hell does Emo mean? “An entire subculture of people (usually angsty teens) with a fake personality,” according to Chernoizets Hrabr. Umm, I don’t think there’s anything FAKE about us. In fact, we’re probably more real then those goons who mock us, who probably worship Assholcrombie & Twitch, or Holystit, or any of those Kewl clothing lines. There is a difference between Aspies and NTs, whether you want to believe it or not.

The Short Bus

I was at a local restaurant today, when this family was talking, and started making references to ”special” people. Specifically, how they “Rode the short bus to school.” Oh yeah, I started getting ticked.

See, my old school was comprised almost entirely of “short buses.” Short buses are the stereotypical way that special ed students are bused to school. I guess the logic is that SE kids can’t make it on a regular big bus, not that most NTs are happy on big buses either.

So then this little twit in the family talks about how her mom has this T-shirt that says “My mom think’s I’m special, so I ride the short bus to school.”

See, this is what I’m talking about. American culture has defined SE people as things to be ridiculed. Don’t believe me? Look at Special Ed from Crank Yankers. He has a fucking helmet, can’t talk right, etc.

American culture is presenting the argument that all special ed students are retards. As I myself can personall attest, this is a load of bull defecation. There are multiple reasons why kids are placed in SE schools, retardation is only one of many.

So keep that in mind, that smart girl you’re hitting up in the bar, or your potential boss in a job interview, though intelligent as they seem, they too could be from an SE School.

My name is James. A few years ago, I graduated from a conglomerate special education school. I don’t wish to say where exactly what school yet, as I still need to get some shit done in my personal life before I take those bastards on. But rest assured, they are in my targeting scope.

You see, special ed schools aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. My particular former school has some of the best fucking PR around, and make themselves look like a bunch of miracle workers. In reality, they had no fucking idea what they were doing, and in my opinion, didn’t give a shit about us.

The main reason I’m writing this blog is to develop ideas for my culminating opus: My memoir. I’m trying this, mainly because I’m a lazy bastard and can’t seem to write anything. Maybe this will motivate me.

Oh, and please do not call me Special. It’s a term of endearment for me and my fellow bretheren.
